Yes I tried this. Mainly cause I was bored and it looked fun.

Favorite Bug type: Caterpie
Why?: LOOK... AT... THAT... FACE!!!!! How can you NOT love this little bundle of nostalgic goodness??!!!!!!

Favorite Dark type: Darkrai
Why?: Darkrai, in a strange way, reminds me of myself. And I'm not a big fan of Dark types but Darkrai is a truly awesome Pokemon. I just wish he had a better representation in the anime....

Favorite Dragon type: Latias
Why?: One of the coolest Pokemon on my Sapphire team was my Latias Sky. I'm not sure why exactly I love Latias but I do.

Favorite Electric type: Jolteon
Why?: When the first 150 came out and my cousin introduced me to Pokemon she showed her Pikachu coin case (and gave it to me! ) and her book of all the known Pokemon. When I saw Jolteon, well I fell in love! I had always loved dogs and to me Jolteon reminded me of a dog. Plus Jolteon was very helpful for me in Leaf green. Jolty Jolteon!

Favorite Fighting type: Lucario
Why?: Like I said I love dogs. And Lucario seemed very cool to me! And Luke on my D/Pt is an awesome Pokemon and Pal. A lot of people like him, and other don't. I'm a Lucario fan no matter what anyone says though.

Favorite Fire type: Charizard
Why?: ROOOOOOAR!!!!! *burns Ash to a crisp*
Ash: *coughs*

Favorite Flying type: Staraptor
Why: Starly was the first Pokemon I fought in D/P, plus Staraptor is the best flying Pokemon I've ever had! Nuff said.

Favorite Ghost type: Duskull
Why?: Mehehehehe... *pulls skull mask over face* Ghosts are cool...

Favorite Grass type: Shaymin (sky form)
Why?: Land form is cute but I like Sky form. She almost looks like a combonation of a Dog and Reindeer. Kind of reminds me of an old book I used ro read as a kid. Olive the other reindeer

Favorite Ground type: Cubone
Why?: *sniff* Cubone... Lavender town much? Poor Cubone...

Favorite Ice type: Delibird
Why?: PENGUIN!!!!!! THAT FLIES!!!!!!!!! AND LOOKS LIKE SANTA!!!!! I used to kick but with this guy in Pokemon Stadium 2. Delibird is underestimated. Really underestimated.....

Favorite Normal type: Munchlax
Why?: Munch munch Munch Munch munch.... Munchlax pretty much sums up my life, eat and sleep...

Favorite Poisin type: Skuntank
Why?: It's a skunk with a freakin' mohawk!!! What more do you want? Oh and Aftermath is a nasty surprise.

Favorite Psychic type: Mew
Why?: When I went to see to first Pokemon movie, it was one of the most memorable moments of my life. Mew reminds me of my old friend, hyper and playful. And very, very, mysterious.

Favorite Rock type: Rampardos
Why?: Best Rock type I've ever used! But why is it all the Pokemon I like are annoying as freak in the ranger games?

Favorite Steel type: Shieldon
Why?: I dunno, he's cute. And he's got good defense.

Favorite Water type: Piplup
Why?: Another penguin!!!!! And with a very fitting type. When I first saw Piplup, I said to myself, "Thats it! Thats the one that shall be my partner!!!"
